**Event Title:** Canvass for Change: Persuasion Canvassing with Hands Off Colorado **Description:** Join Hands Off Colorado for a day of voter persuasion canvassing! We'll be knocking doors and having real conversations with voters to build support for our communities, including trans and immigrant neighbors who are directly impacted by the policies on the ballot this year. This is persuasion canvassing, which means we're not just checking in with supporters. We're talking to voters who are undecided or leaning against us, listening to their concerns, and having genuine conversations that can change minds. No experience necessary. We'll train you on everything you need to know before we head out, including how to have effective, empathetic conversations at the door. **What to expect:** - Brief training and script walkthrough at check-in - Canvassing in pairs or small groups (great for first-timers!) - Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing recommended - Snacks and water provided **Why this matters:** Every conversation we have moves us closer to a Colorado that stands up for all of its communities.
