Vigil for HD-16 Family Canvass -- 10/17
Join us for a special canvass to get Steph Vigil back into the State House representing HD-16! We’ll be knocking doors, talking to voters, and building the grassroots momentum it will take to win this race. This will be a special, family-focused event so we encourage you to bring friends, kids, and family to join us. We will also be hosting a picnic in Palmer Park immediately afterward! We will be meeting at Palmer Park near the playground. Look for us set up near the Vigil sign! New to canvassing? No worries! We’ll be providing a training at 9:00 AM, and you’ll have the option to pair up with a more experienced volunteer so you can learn as you go. If you’ve already been trained, feel free to join us at 9:30 AM. Schedule: 9:00 AM – New volunteer training 9:30 AM – Check-in for all volunteers 10:00 AM – Head out to knock doors 12:00 PM – Meet back up for a debrief and social! What to bring: -Comfortable walking shoes -Water bottle -Weather-appropriate clothing & sunscreen -A fully charged phone Accessibility: We’ll do our best to accommodate all volunteers. If you need a low-mobility or non-walking role, we have options available—just let us know when you arrive.
