# Call Voters with Families Not Politics: Defend Colorado Kids and Families This November, Colorado voters will decide two ballot measures that sound simple but aren’t. Propositions 134 and 135 are sold as fairness and safety measures, but the fine print tells a different story. Voters deserve to hear it before they vote. Proposition 134 is so vague it could subject any kid, in any sport, from kindergarten through college, to invasive verification just to prove they belong on the field. Proposition 135 takes medical decisions away from families and doctors and hands them to politicians. It could even block care for kids who aren’t transgender, including teens fighting cancer. Here’s what our research tells us: many voters are still making up their minds, and when they hear the full picture, they move. Those are the voters we’re calling.
